The Alcatraz Festival in Kortrijk, Belgium highlights the best in hard rock and heavy metal each year; on August 8-9th, metal heads were treated to performances by Marilyn Manson, Twisted Sister, Wasp, Prong and a host of other artists, including Belgian group Channel Zero. Although they played in broad daylight, their performance was augmented by eight High End Systems SHAPESHIFTER C1 fixtures that displayed phenomenal effects in full sunlight.

Lighting designer Randall Diagre used the fixtures - supplied by AED Distribution - at the left and right stage wings to throw serious eye candy on the band and to the crowd. A little haze was all that was required to illustrate the fantastic output of the SHAPESHIFTER.
