CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN CHOOSE ALLEN & HEATH

Originally from Llandudno in North Wales, Catfish and the Bottlemen’s meteoric rise to stardom has already seen them appear on the David Letterman show in the US. The welsh rockers chose the Allen & Heath system because of its flexible functions and portability.
Wigwam’s Joel Perry said; “We’ve been keeping a close eye on the Bottlemen for the past six months. Their rise is down to nothing short of hard work. Mike Woodhouse (FOH Engineer) has been a pleasure to deal with and it’s incredible to think they’re already on their way back to the UK, for the second leg. A great live band - doing it the right way.”
Mike Woodhouse, who has been with the band since last March, opted for the Allen & Heath GLD after considering a number of consoles.20150213-Allen & Heath GLD.png “It’s been a great sounding tour so far, regardless of venue or capacity. It’s been made entirely trouble-free using the GLD. It’s got an exceptional natural sound, which is important for capturing the boys as truthfully as possible, and its functionality isn’t compromised by its size.”
“The recording options that are readily available within the GLD are immense - particularly with the Dante option. 64-channels, directly into the MacBook, straight into Logic… Perfect!”
The band’s current touring schedule is hectic to say the least, undertaking a twenty-five date North American tour before returning to the UK for twelve sell out Academy dates in March.
